My First Experience With Perplexity

“Come here, I want to show you something,” Dad said one evening, waving me over to his laptop. I trudged over, unsure why he looked so excited about a website. “This is Perplexity,” he announced, like he was introducing me to an old friend. I raised an eyebrow, sceptical. Another app, I thought.

But then he showed me something that caught my attention, you could switch between different AI models depending on what you needed. My curiosity was piqued. He clicked around some more, and to my surprise, all our old conversations were saved neatly, waiting to be revisited anytime.

“See? Nothing gets lost,” Dad said, grinning proudly, as if he had discovered treasure. I tried it myself, typing a random question just to test it out. The answer came back clear and organized. Slowly, my scepticism faded into quiet admiration. Dad had been right all along.
